when we show the dept of the subject like this , Its call DOF (Depth of field) and DOF also has 2 pats. extended DOF and shallow DOF. this is a good example for shallow DOF. extended DOF u can see when we take landscape pics. (where almost every object is focused) ex: when we take mountain pic,u can c near by trees & mountains as a focused subjects within the same pic.
